The Digital Library Federation is gearing up to host its highly anticipated Virtual DLF Forum, taking place online from October 22-23. This year’s event promises an engaging and thought-provoking lineup, with 34 sessions covering a range of topics through workshops, panels, working sessions, presentations, and lightning talks. Featuring 102 distinguished speakers, the Forum will explore new ideas and approaches in digital libraries and cultural preservation.
One of the event’s highlights will be a keynote session by Andrea Jackson Gavin, Program Director of the HBCU Digital Library Trust, titled “Advancing the HBCU Digital Library Trust Through Relationship-Building.” Scheduled for October 22, from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. ET, this session will delve into the importance of collaboration and relationship-building to advance the mission of the HBCU Digital Library Trust. For those unable to attend live, the session will be recorded and made available on the CLIR/DLF YouTube channel following the event.
In addition to the live presentations, presenters are encouraged to share their materials on DLF’s OSF account, providing a wealth of resources for attendees to explore after the Forum.
